The key benefit of SCP is that it enables you to share lots of files with your colleagues, clients, customers and prospects. The files can be of **any type** and **any size**, even those that are too big to e-mail.

Creating [[PortalContentAddMenu menus]] and [[PortalContentAddPage pages]] is straightforward. You do not need to know any programming languages, there are wizards to guide you through each step. If you have some experience of word processing, you'll find the standard formatting functions on the menu of the [[PortalPageEditor text editor.]]

All of your portal content, the documents, pages and menus, are held in a secure central store. You control who gets [[Access access]] by deciding which [[MemberGroups Member Group]] can see which content, and what (if anything) they can change.

All [[Members]] associated with a Portal receive e-mail notification when content is added or modified.
