About Account Administrators


Permissions

Account Owners can designate one or more Members to be Account Administrators. This enables them to do everything that an Account Owner can do. Owners can, however, withhold the authority to:
  • modify administrator permissions
  • delete portals under their administration

There is also a facility to add an Administrator as a guest user to one or more of the portals they are to administer. By default, Administrators are added to the owner and everyone groups.

Notifications

SCP sends notifications to Owners automatically when, for example, content is added to any of their portals and forums, or their portal pages are modified. Owners can choose whether Administrators receive:
  • notification and a copy of Forum messages
  • SCP Admin messages from the System Manager
  • Specific Portal notification Messages ( Member x uploaded file y )
