Formatting code for Access
About Access
**Account Owners**
As Accounts Account owners, you can do everything within your account - as you would expect. You can create and delete Portals Portals; create and delete accounts for your guests (called Members Members in SCP); and manage the access of Members to your Portal Content.
**Account Administrators**
Should you look for help with your Account, you can designate one or more Members to be Account Administrators. This enables them to do everything that an Account Owner can do. You can, however, withhold the authority to:
- modify administrator permissions
- delete portals under their administration
**Members and Member Groups**
The access of everyone else is managed using groups. Essentially, you grant Member Groups acccess (or not) to each element of portal content, and assign Members to the Member Groups.
Members can belong to one or more Member Groups. Portal Content can be accessible to one or more Member Groups.
Everyone belongs to the 'Everyone' Member Group - but you can take them out of there is you wish. Similarly, by default, everything you post on your portal is accessible to the 'Everyone' Member Group - but you would assign individual items to different groups if you wished to restrict access to them.
**Related features**
**Related functions**
